Long before Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, Raven Software's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, there was a dark time when some Marvel fans felt completely abandoned by the American publisher with only one shining beacon of hope – the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series.

In a recent interview with the Game Informer crew, Lead Designer Keith Fuller, Gameplay Programmer Aaron San Fillippo, and Tech Programmer Allison Salmon revealed brand-new details on the complex creative process behind the making of Raven Software's critically acclaimed video game from 2006.

When it comes to the third entry in the long-running Marvel: Ultimate Alliance franchise, it will be a Nintendo Switch exclusive that focuses solely on the classic Infinity Gauntlet storyline. According to Dead or Alive 6 developer Team Ninja, the action-RPG title's roster will feature over 20 distinct characters at launch (allowing you to battle Thanos' forces as Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Captain America and other beloved heroes), with more surely joining the fun during the threequel’s post-launch phase.
