Yesterday we found out that
Sonic Mania had
sold 1 million units worldwide and it was considered to be quite the achievement for Sega's blue hedgehog.
Earlier this year ,an add-on to the game was announced during the Sonic Panel at the SXSW Gaming Festival. The add-on turned out to be
Sonic Mania Plus, which was announced to be a free DLC for the people who had already purchased
Sonic Mania, and was also going to be coming out in physical form. As one of Sonic Mania Plus' new features they also added Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel as two new playable characters.
Today we got a brand new trailer for
Sonic Mania Plus as well as an official date for it. For the people who already owned
Sonic Mania, this will be an automatic update that will come out on the
17th of July. If you still don't own the game, you can purchase
Sonic Mania Plus in digital form or go for the physical copy of the game.
