Ubisoft had a bunch of titles to reveal information about during today's Ubisoft Forward presentation, and Riders Republic was one of the brand-new intellectual properties that the developer has announced for both current and next-gen platforms.
First things first, Riders Republic is a brand-new extreme sports title that seems to be the perfect mix between Shaun White Snowboarding, Steep, and the Trials series — all developed by Ubisoft — as it will be giving players the chance to participate in a wide variety of extreme sports.
To be more precise, the recently announced title will see players skiing, snowboarding, flying in a wingsuit, or riding a bike in an open world full of extreme activities to take part in. Much like in Steep and Shaun White Snowboarding, players will be able to join other players; up to 50, in this particulr case, so it will definitely be a fun experience.
Riders Republic will allow players to participate in events with up to 50 players, so races and events of all kinds will definitely be fascinating to witness. All of this coupled with online cups and leaderboards to keep thigs even more interesting; every rider's dream come true.
Ubisoft also reveals that Riders Republic will be running at a solid 60 FPS on next-gen consoles, while also managing to keep all of those 50 players live on screen. On that note, the game is releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC(Epic Games Store), Stadia, and UPLAY+ on Thursday the 25th of February, 2021.
