The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series is making its long-awated comeback in just a few more weeks from today, and fans of the iconic skateboarding video game series are probably counting the days until Activision and Vicarious Visions' remaster of the first two games finally becomes available.
Players who pre-ordered a digital copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 had the chance to play the game — as a playable demo that gave players access to the classic Warehouse level was released this past Friday, and this also gave some users the chance to check out the game's code; revealing that Officer Dick is making a comeback.
For those of you who may not have played any game in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, Officer Dick was a character that appeared in the first four entries in the series, who represented the lifelong rivalry between police officers/security guards and skateboarders. It's a gag character, for sure, but one that was always beloved by fans of the series.
Officer Dick was even a playable character in the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, and this new information obtained via the new game's code reveals that not only is this peculiar character making a comeback, but that he will be portrayed by Hollywood actor Jack Black.
Players will remember that Tony Hawk and Jack Black teamed up to unveil Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 in May, with a video that was posted on Black's official YouTube channel (Jablinski Games), but we could've never imagined that he would also be playing a character in the game.
While it hasn't been confirmed if Officer Dick will also be playable, it is very likely that this is the case. At this point, I wouldn't even be surprised if the character was given a bigger role in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 now that Jack Black is more prominently involved.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC(Epic) on Friday the 4th of September.
