Electronic Arts has announced a partnership with Valve which will see their many popular games made available on Steam. The EA Access subscription service will be essentially merged with Steam which means that you will be able to access any of the titles that you already own on the Origin launcher through Steam. It's said that EA Access won't be available on Steam until Spring 2020.
However,
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be playable through Steam as soon as it releases on November 15th —

Apex Legends,
Battlefield V, and
FIFA 20 will be available to play through Steam next year — as the publisher explained in an official blog post about their partnership with Valve.
“The partnership kicks off with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launching on November 15—and available for pre-order today. In the coming months, players on Steam will also be able to play other major titles like The Sims 4 and Unravel Two. Multiplayer games—like Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield V—will become available next year," said in
their blog post.
The post continued to detail the crossover, notably mentioning that players will be able to participate in online play together regardless of whether they're accessing the game through Origin or Steam. Below you can check out the official announcement tweet from Electronic Arts (via
