Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an action-adventure game developed and published by Ubisoft that was initially revealed during the E3 in 2017. The game will be coming out on the 16th of October for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

In Starlink: Battle for Atlas, players will take control of any ship of their liking and set out on an adventure to save the Atlas Star system. Given that the game takes place mainly in space, and many different planets, players will be able to travel from planet to planet seamlessly.

During this year's  E3 we got some new trailers, as well as a few new guest characters for the game. To the surprise of many, Fox McCloud, from Nintendo's Star Fox series, will be making an appearance in Starlink: Battle for Atlas—as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

In fact, it won't be a simple appearance as it has been confirmed that players can play as Fox from beginning to end. The developers have even said that Fox will have special missions that will shed some light on why he finds himself in the Atlas System.

Having Fox in Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a testament to how big the universe in the game will be, and the worlds will also play a very important part. Each world in the game will be different, with its own unique flora and fauna. The latest trailer released for the game shows off some of these beautiful worlds, and introduces us to the Forgotten Legion—the game's main antagonists.

Check it out:

Lead a group of heroic interstellar pilots who use modular starships to mix and match their unique gear and skills on the fly. Travel the star system to unite the galaxy against villainous destructive forces.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on the 16th of October.
