Rainbow Six Siege's
Operation Para Bellum introduces two new defenders, Alibi and Maestro. As promised, Ubisoft revealed the first details for these two new operators, the new map, and much more during last week's
Rainbow Six Siege Pro League finals. We're happy to report that Team Liquid were crowned Season 7 Pro League Champions, bringing the title to the Latin America region.
Alibi was inspired by undercover infiltration specialists in the Italian Raggruppamento Operativo Speciale unit. She is a cunning woman with a gift for infiltrating dense networks of organized crime. Aria de Luca (aka Alibi) possesses the rare ability to use holograms to confuse her enemies and other operators, which will surely change the balance of Ubisoft's
Rainbow Six: Siege.
The second defender, Adriano Martello (or simply Maestro) is an expert on blocking access to key locations, as he can use the ability to see through smoke, tear gas, and even mirrors. His character was inspired by explorers from the Italian counter-terrorism unit, Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (G.I.S.), which is well-known for their brilliant exploration, reconnaissance, and scouting techniques.
The Villa map will be a great place to test their skills as Ubisoft promises that it's their most competitive map to date. Be sure to check out the new gameplay and Sunday's stream below:
The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.
