The next instalment in the
Rainbow Six series was unveiled during Ubisoft's recent E3 2019 conference.
Rainbow Six Quarantine will be a co-operative PvE first-person shooter. It's set to release at some point during 2020 but an exact date hasn't yet been disclosed.
Before this release, there will be a beta event for
Rainbow Six Quarantine. You're able to signup for this upcoming beta right now. Simply head over to
the game's official website, let them know what platform you play on (be it PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC), and you'll have a chance of being invited to the upcoming early access event.
It's worth noting that you're not guaranteed a spot in the beta by signing up, rather you're throwing your name into the hat. You'll be e-mailed if you're one of the lucky chosen few and you'll also receive updates about the beta - such as when it will be taking place. Currently, like the actual game's release date, we don't know exactly when the beta will be taking place.
Set several years into the future of the Rainbow Six Universe, Rainbow Six Quarantine takes the tactical action that the series is known for and sets it against the backdrop of an entirely new co-op campaign. When a mutated alien parasite starts infecting human hosts, it’s up to the Operators of Team Rainbow to stop the deadly threat before time runs out.
Created by Ubisoft Montreal, and a dedicated new team comprised of developers from For Honor, Ghost Recon, and more, Rainbow Six Quarantine aims to create a chaotic, intense, and unpredictable co-op, player-versus-enemy experience. Players will band together with two other teammates and storm into quarantine zones around the country in an effort to turn the tide for humanity.
Rainbow Six Quarantine is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2020.
