Operation Grim Sky might have ended, but Year Three of
Rainbow Six: Siege post-launch support continues, with the inclusion of Season Four, titled elegantly
Operation Wind Bastion. The latest expansion introduces players to two brand new operators, Kaid and Nomad and a never-before-seen map
Fortress, giving you a unique opportunity to join the very best at this elite training ground.
Ubisoft has proudly announced that
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege – Operation Wind Bastion is finally live now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and obviously PC (according to Steam, Siege is the fourth most-played game on the platform).
Year Three Season Four also introduces Pro Team BDUs and Headgears, a new navigational display in the shop, and a new full screen view for the weapons.
The two new characters, Jalal “Kaid” El Fassi and Sanaa “Nomad” El Maktoub are quite a couple. Kaid is a Defender, who's main priority is protecting the
Fortress possessing a spider-inspired gadget that complements his security systems. Nomad is not a damsel in distreess either, as her "Rtila" Electroclaw can electrify reinforced walls and hatches, barbed wire, and also deployable shields. Take a look:
The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.
