Square Enix's
The Quiet Man has been pretty much a mystery since it was first revealed during this year's E3, with a trailer that starts as a live action movie that seamlessly turns into computer generated images in what looks to be in-game graphics.
Back in July, we got a bit more information about the game in a letter, posted on social media, by
The Quiet Man game producer Kensei Fujinaga. In it, Fujinaga hinted at the game being a lot deeper than the teaser trailer could ever reveal—making clear that the game wants players to connect with the game's mute protagonist.
While that letter may have left players even more confused about the premise of
The Quiet Man, it did get people talking about it—which is always a good thing. Today, Square Enix has shared online a few screenshots that may not reveal much about the game but show off some of the game's environments, as well as some of its combat that, truth be told, looks quite brutal—but we'll let the pics
speak for themselves.
