The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is supposed to start a new game series united under the Dark Pictures name. Supermassive has announced that we will get at least two new games a year and each title will feature a different cast of characters, stories and environments. The first chapter takes place in the South Pacific as the player will control a group of friends that discover a World War II wreck.

According to Tom Heaton, the Game Director of The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, the upcoming horror won't be a particularly long journey. In a recent interview with the Wccftech crew, Heaton revealed that "A single playthrough will be in the range of around four hours," There's also potentially good news, as your final score "may be a little higher or a little lower depending on your choices."

Hopefully, Supermassive won't try to trick players and Man of Medan's price will be accurate, considering how short the game will be. The studio's last title, PS4 exclusive Until Dawn was almost twice longer that MoM, but it's understandable as we will get at least two games set in The Dark Pictures universe next year. Let's hope this series won't repeat the other Dark universe’s mistakes...

Man of Medan is the first game in the Dark Pictures Anthology, bringing supernatural horror to the South Pacific. As the player you’ll get to shape the story through your actions and decisions. Who will live, who will die - It’s all down to you...

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan comes out on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime in 2019.
