Agony is a first-person survival horror game created by Mad Mind Studio, a relatively small team of only 9 talented developers who previously worked on The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Tom Clancy's The Division, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, and Alien Rage. Players will begin their unforgettable journey as a tormented soul, Amraphel within the dark depths of hell without any memories about his past.

The solo campaign is not everything Agony has to offer, as the game will also give you a chance to compete with other players in the special Agony mode, which is a form of the multiplayer in which you interact with other lost souls in the procedurally generated environment. The plans to release a patch that would remove the censorship Agony has faced to get the acceptance of PEGI and other rating companies have been scrapped.

The first reviews for Mad Mind's debut project suggest that Agony is a problematic production, but we still have to wait to see what the critics from the biggest websites, and most importantly, players will have to say about the horror game set in the lowest circle of hell. Be sure to check out the bizarre launch trailer featuring hordes of naked demons, genitals, and even eating babies down below:

Agony is a first-person survival horror game currently in development. Players will begin their journey as tormented soul within the depths of hell without any memories about his past. The special ability to control people on their path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives the player the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in. By exploring hostile environment and interacting with the other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require a meeting of the mystical Red Goddess.

Agony is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC NOW!
