Skies Unknown is an arcade flight sim that combines real modern-day fighters (like A-10C Thunderbolt II) with the fantasy world of nations at global war. You'll have a chance to check out the (hopefully glorious) return of the
Ace Combat series on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4, with Sony's console fully supporting a special and exclusive VR experience, allowing you to finally feel like Maverick in
Top Gun.
Bandai Namco has released the first trailer in a series of aircraft introduction videos for the upcoming
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, introducing players to the F-15C eagle fighters. While the trailer is hardly the longest one, it gives us a chance to see a detailed digital model of the real-world fighter that features advanced weaponry systems specifically designed to locate and target enemy aircraft.
Considering that Ubisoft's
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. series is currently dead,
Ace Combat has a unique opportunity to fly high. The E3 2018 trailer for the game suggests that the arcade-like, cinematic combat and aerial g-force-fueled ballet are still there and
Ace's spirit can be felt. All vehicles in the game will be fully upgradable, so be sure to check out the basic version of the F-15C down below:
