It was only last month that we learned Control would finally receive a photo mode during the fall, and thanks to the recent release of update 1.04, Remedy Entertainment has officially added the requested feature.

However, that may not be the most exciting bit of news to come out this week, as a new post on the official PlayStation Blog recently revealed some intriguing new details on the forthcoming Expeditions Mode.

Launching sometime this December, according to the post-launch roadmap for Control, the Expeditions Mode will reportedly see players complete a number of timed challenges as Jesse Faden. But to add some interesting wrinkles to these new adventures, the challenges will also "come with different modifiers" that affect the difficulty of each endeavor.

Control is available now on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
