The fans of J.K.Rowling's wizarding universe should be more than happy, as the rumors about a brand new Harry Potter game created by Avalanche Software were seemingly real. According to Eurogamer and BBC News reporter Lizo Mzimba, the upcoming RPG might be titled Harry Potter Magic Awakened or Magic Forever, but WB. Interactive is also looking for other options and it may change.
The report claims that the game is indeed being developed by the creators of the Disney: Infinity series, Utah-based Avalanche Software. Here's the potentially bad news, as the title is "still currently at least a year away from launch" and there's a chance it will actually launch on the next-gen consoles, presumably PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One successor currently known under the Scarlett codename.
The mysterious Harry Potter production will also feature "dark wizards," and even "goblins" and a simple morality system which allows you to act like a "good" wizard or a "bad" sorcerer. The report also suggests that other projects set in the bigger Potter universe are on their way and it's just the beginning of the Warner Bros. offensive. The publisher hasn't responded to the latest reports just yet.
