Far Cry 5's Season Pass ($29.99) features not only three totally different mini-campaigns (with aliens, zombies and the Vietcong) but also the access to
Far Cry 3's remaster.
Far Cry 5 finally released today, giving players a chance to fight the crazy cultist that occupy Hope County. The game gets good reviews (currently sitting at 81/100 on Metacritic) and Ubisoft will support the game with new content.
The DLCs will be available sooner for the owners of the Season Pass (which is also included in the Gold Edition), but
Hours of Darkness, Lost on Mars and
Dead Living Zombies are just the small beginning.
Unfortunately,
Far Cry 3 Classic Edition features only the single player campaign with all the additional DLCs, and the game will be officially released in the standalone version on June 26th. But once again, the Season Pass owners are privileged with four weeks early access, launching on May 29th. PC players who have purchased
Far Cry 5's Season Pass will receive the full version of
Far Cry 3 "for free".
