One of the hotly anticipated video games of 2020, is Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, will not be released on time. The original idea was to have the game on store shelves in the first quarter of 2020, which is between January 1, 2020 - March 31, 2020. However, such plans are no longer on the table, and fans are likely not pleased.
From what we have gathered thus far, the new release date is set for late 2020, but unfortunately, publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Hardsuit Labs, have failed to give a hard date, which might not be a bad thing if everything goes according to plan.
In a new statement released by both companies, they said the Q1 release date was not realistic, and that is the reason for the delay.
On the flip side, there’s the responsibility to avoid some of the issues that plagued the first game, which was famously launched too early. Over the last few months, it became clear that to stick to our original date would risk repeating that mistake. We won’t do that. In the end, everyone working on this game wants to offer you the best Bloodlines 2 we can.
Time will tell if this new release date will stay the same. One thing is for certain, however, the game will no doubt be announced for both the PlayStation 5 and the next-generation Xbox video game consoles.
