VOID TERRARIUM: New Trailer Gives Us A Better Idea Of What To Expect In Terms Of Gameplay

NIS America has just released a brand-new trailer for Void Terrarium, and we now finally get to see some gameplay for this rather depressing, and yet uplifting game.

Earlier this year Nippon Ichi Software(NIS America) announced that Void Terrarium would be localised outside of Japan, and that the game was scheduled to release at some point this year for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Not much was about revealed about the game, however, since all we knew about it was that it is about a discarded maintenance robot that comes across a girl named Toriko. This is no ordinary girl, as it is believed that she's the last remaining human, and the robot feels the need to help her.

Nippon Ichi Software has described Void Terrarium as a care simulator/rogue-like title, but we didn't really know exacty what this meant; trailers have given us a pretty good look at the game but have barely shown any gameplay.

Today, a brand-new trailer for Void Terrarium has been shared online by the developers, which finally gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect in terms of gameplay, and it is actually exactly what the developers said: a care simulator with rogue-like elements.

Void Terrarium will see players taking the role of this maintenance robot, and will be collecting items to ensure Toriko's survival. Along the way, the will encounter more than a few enemies, and this is where players will engage in combat similar to that seen in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series.

Check it out:

Even in the darkest times, hope is homegrown. Void Terrarium chronicles the story of a robot and a young girl in a world devastated by enigmatic events. Explore hauntingly beautiful ruins in search of food and supplies, outfit and maintain the "terrarium" in which you live, and do whatever it takes to protect and nurture the last surviving human in this care simulator-meets-roguelike title.

Void Terrarium will release for the playStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on the 10th of July in Europe, 14th of July in North America, and 17th of July in New Zealand.
