Warframe is a free-to-play third-person Sci-fi action game developed and published by Digital Extremes. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 and Windows in 2013 and would later get a Xbox One release in 2014.
Today we got an announcement trailer for the Nintendo Switch and the game is actually being ported by Panic Button—the same people who successfully managed to port Bethesda's
Doom and
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus to the Nintendo's handheld hybrid console.
While the game got an announcement trailer a couple of hours ago, there is no relase date on the trailer. When checking the official
Warframe website,
Warframe for the Nintendo Switch is said to be currently in development so we will have to wait for an official release date by the developers. No matter the case, being able to play
Warframe on the go is definitely great news for fans of the game, and newcomers to the series who want to experience this brilliant game anywhere they want.
