2019 promises to be a big year for Digital Extremes'
Warframe. Hot off the release of the Fortuna update, the roadmap for the free-to-play game is packed with new content, including three new frames.
The first will presumably be Hildryn, a new shield-based frame that was shown off on one of the
recent livestreams. Hildryn's abilities don't use energy, but rather pull from her shield pool. Another unique thing about her is that instead of a regular Primary/Secondary/Melee signature weapon, she will feature her own Archwing gun.
The second of the new frames is code-named "Wisp." We unfortunately don't have any details for this new frame, but Digital Extreme did release some artwork for it (see above).
Finally, the third frame has yet to be formally introduced. We only know that it will be coming.
For those of you still collecting older frames, Digital Extremes also recently announced that
Ember Prime and Frost Prime will be returning from the Vault this week on January 29. The two Prime variants will be available until March.
