Square Enix and Avalanche studios recently released the highly anticipated Just Cause 4, the fourth entry in the Just Cause series; well-known for it's non-stop, over-the-top action sequences that has players blowing everything up.

From the get-go, we could all appreciate how nice Avalanche Studios' Just Cause 4 was looking; strictly from a technical standpoint, the game's open world, in-game characters, and varied vehicles looked simply amazing. This isn't saying much given the experience that Avalanche Studios has developing Just Cause games, as well as other titles with high end graphics.

Just Cause 4 looks good, that's a given, but how well does it actually stack up when compared to this gen's performance standards? How well does the game perform in all of the platforms Just Cause 4 is available for?

Digital Foundry has recently done a full analysis on Square Enix and Avalanche Studios' Just Cause 4 and, while the game does indeed look stunning, it does get the occasional frame drop in some heated action sequences; which seems to happen across all platfor.

Take a look:

Welcome to Solis, a huge South American world home of conflict, oppression and extreme weather conditions. Just Cause 4 sees rogue hero Rico Rodriguez land in Solis to hunt down the truth about his past, at any costs.

Just Cause 4 is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
