5. Diablo 3: Ultimate Edition
Diablo 3 would work well on the Switch, as it is accustomed to what the Switch is all about. Imagine picking up and playing the game whenever or wherever you are. How about doing some loot management whilst waiting for a train? Or, besting a boss in the bathroom? The loot heavy game would fit perfectly on the Nintendo Switch.
4. Injustice 2
Fighters can be played for hours on end, or picked up for a few fights against a friend. The Switch epitomises that experience, especially with the two Joy-Cons always present for multiplayer battles. Furthermore, Injustice 2’s ‘Multiverse’ would work brilliantly on the Switch; whenever you have some free time you can pull the console out and tackle a challenge. The character customisation also wields perfectly with the personal nature of the portable system.
3. Destiny 2
Whilst the original Destiny remains controversial amongst gamers, there’s no denying that the sequel has immense potential. The shooter would be welcomed onto the Switch library by the fans and could be the go-to platform due to the intimacy of the console alongside the ability to play anywhere.
2. Borderlands franchise
Not much has to be said here, other than it being obvious. The franchise belongs on the Switch, the fast combat and the overwhelming loot combined with the pick up and play nature of the Switch would create an unnatural addiction for all gamers. This vision was attempted on the Vita, but was held back by hardware limitations.
1. Star Wars Battlefront 2
Star Wars Battlefront 2 has promise, with the inclusion of all eras of Star Wars, a class system and a singleplayer campaign the future looks bright for the rebooted series. This future could be even brighter on the Nintendo Switch. Stars Wars Battlefront battles on the go would be perfect.
