The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best-rated games ever made, as well as one of the best titles available on the Nintendo Switch, which is one of the many reasons why fans are so excited to play Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja's Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has been revealed to be a prequel to the critically acclaiemd The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but that doesn't mean that its focus will also be on exploration, as the soon-to-be-released game is actually a hack and slash.
While Team Ninja's hack and slash doesn't focus on exploration like its predecessor, it is a game that takes place before the events seen in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and most fans are excited to know what happened prior to Calamity Ganon's appearance.
Reviews for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity have already begun to roll out, and critics are seemingly giving Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja's new game a lot of praise. On review aggregator site Metacritic, the game currently has a Metascore of 79/100, which is actually pretty great.
In related news, since some reviewers have had access to the game for a while, spoilers for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity have already managed to make their way online, but the good news is that the unstable framerate seen in the game's demo has seemingly been addressed by the developers at Team Ninja, and are no longer an issue.
