As we draw closer to the release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, the prequel to the critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo and developer Koei Tecmo(Team Ninja) have been releasing new information about the upcoming title.
Since Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is taking place one hundred years prior to the events in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the developers have another chance to tell some of the stories that players have heard about but have never had the chance to actually experience for themselves, which is actually one of the upcoming game's main selling points.
Exactly a week ago, Nintendo shared a short video for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity that was simply titled Untold Chronicles From 100 Years Past, which gave us a look at beloved characters Robbie and Purah — who played a very important role in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and we also know they were essential during the events that ended with Calamity Ganon's victory.
Today, Nintendo has shared yet another episode in the Untold Chronicles From 100 Years Past miniseries, which is now introducing players to Yiga Clan leader Master Kohga. What's more intriguing, is the fact that we are introduced to a brand-new, and sinister-looking character that seems to be aiding the Yiga Clan. Judging by the symbol on this new character's back, it seems that they may be a Gerudo.
