It Looks Like MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA Won't Be Released On The Nintendo Switch

Despite a number of AAA studios promising support for the Nintendo Switch, one highly anticipated 2017 release won't be forthcoming on the console, Mass Effect: Andromeda. That's the word from a Bioware producer.

In an interview with Bioware's Michael Gamble, Stevivor pretty much confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will not becoming to the Nintendo Switch, at least not at the console's launch.  With the Switch being released in March, and with Andromeda previously confirmed for a Spring 2017 release (and now rumored for a March 31 launch) it seemed plausible that the newest Mass Effect entry would be a strong launch title for the Switch.  Apparently that won't be the case.

"We’re not planning on it. If the Switch launches and everyone’s just yammering for Mass Effect, who knows," said Gamble.  So unless the Switch sells like hotcakes and there's an overwhelming demand for Andromeda, don't hold your breath.
