Late last year, Nintendo of America announced that a new LEGO set based on The Legend of Zelda video game franchise would be arriving in 2026. The announcement was accompanied by a brief video featuring Link, Princess Zelda, and an ominous silhouette.
While the video stopped short of revealing what the actual set would be, fans familiar with the beloved video game franchise immediately recognized it was a recreation of a scene from the Nintendo 64 classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Here's a quick look at the video to jog your memory if you don't quite remember.
If you're seeing this for the first time, this is a reference to the moment in the game when Link and Navi face off against Ganon. The "Do you realize who you're dealing with" line is part of a longer quote from Ganon in which he state: "Pathetic little fool! Do you realize who you're dealing with? I am Ganondorf! And soon, I will rule the world!"
Neither Nintendo nor LEGO have officially mentioned anything pertaining to this upcoming collaboration, but new details and leaked images have seemingly confirmed what look to be official details for the set.
According to the latest leak, the new The Legend of Zelda LEGO set, #77093, will officially be called "The Final Battle: Ocarina of Time." It will be priced at $129.99 and come with 1,003 pieces that when built will create this iconic moment in the game.
Courtesy of Brick Tap, the leaked image of the set depicts the last boss fight from Ocarina of Time with Link and Zelda facing off against Ganon in both his humanoid Gerudo form (Ganondorf) and his true pig-like form. Similar to the Great Deku Tree set released in September 2024, it looks like The Final Battle: Ocarina of Time set can be displayed in two configurations: one with Link leaping from a building and slashing towards Ganon, and another with Link and Zelda standing in front of flames looking up at Ganondorf. The set will include minifigures of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, as well as Navi the Fairy, a brick-built Ganon, the Megaton Hammer, and recovery hearts.
Further details reveal a March 1, 2026 release date for the set. With just a little over a month to go until its supposed release, LEGO should make some sort of announcement soon.
LEGO just this week officially revealed the first wave of LEGO Pokemon sets coming. They detailed the initial three LEGO Pokemon sets on January 12th, and they are slated to arrive at the end of February, so a formal reveal for this LEGO The Legend of Zelda set could come any day now.
This will be the second set based on Nintendo's iconic franchise, following the massive Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (#77092) that released in 2024. This first set featured 2,500 pieces and was also a 2-in-1 that allowed fans to build the tree from Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild. It sold for $299.99.
Like the Deku Tree, it appears this Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time set is geared more towards adults and collectors, meant for display and not necessarily play.
