Yes, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is coming to the Nintendo Switch. No, you won't be able to play as Goku, if that is what you are thinking. One would never think that a game like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate had a connection to Dragon Ball... but oh, it does. If you are familiar with Yamcha, then you know about the Wolf Fang Fist technique. Over on Twitter, a fan found a Smash fighter paying tribute to that fighting style.
The character from the left is Wolf from Star Fox and now Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is a hardcore connection the developers are creating here. The Wolf is using... the Wolf Fang Fist. I think that is no coincidence, they look so similar. Their legs, arms, and heads are doing the same thing or have the same angle.
Of course, there is no official word from Nintendo that this connection was on purpose or if it's canon. At the end of the day, this could indeed be coincidence and Nintendo can say they both are Kung Fu fighters. We will just have to wait to find out.
A little information on Wolf. Wolf O'Donnell is the leader of Star Wolf and rival of Fox McCloud. In parallel to Fox and his team, Wolf is also known to go by the name of Star Wolf.
Dragon Ball Super is streaming its English dub on FUNimation, the subbed version has completed and you can find it in the same website or Crunchyroll.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hits shelves on December 7, 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
