Quite surpassingly, Devil May Cry V is not the only title featuring Dante to launch in 2019, as Capcom is officially bringing the original Devil May Cry to the Nintendo Switch at some point this summer.

As a reminder, the cult-classic original is also part of last year's Devil May Cry HD Collection, that is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, so there's hope that the first video game's critically acclaimed sequel and threequel will also find their way to the Switch down the line.

Devil May Cry originally debuted for PlayStation 2 back in August 2001, marking the first appearance of Dante, "the ultimate devil hunter." In the gaudy slasher, Dante takes on the dangerous king of the underworld, Mundus, with "the blood of a legendary demon warrior flowing through his veins."

With the port launching in summer, more details on the game should be revealed in the coming weeks.
