Black Future '88 is a 2D action shooter developed by SUPERSCARYSNAKES and published by Good Shepherd Entertainment. The game was inititally announced for Steam, and was meant to be released last year; although the date has already been changed and is expected to release at some point in 2019.
Today, the developer has revealed that
Black Future '88 will be making its way into the Nintendo Switch as a console exclusive title; allowing players to take this action-packed Synth-Punk adventure on-the-go.
The Nintendo Switch version of
Black Future '88 will allow players to enjoy the game in Co-op mode in both handheld or docked modes; each playing with one Joy-Con controller thanks to the versatility Nintendo's handheld hybrid offers.
Much like the name suggests,
Black Futute '88 will take players back to an alternative version of 1988, where the world is reeling from a nuclear cataclysm. Players will see themselves climbing a procedural tower and reaching the top before their character's heart explores; making for some action-packed gameplay sessions.
Take a look:
Shoot, slash, dash and upgrade yourself to survive the endless waves of deadly traps, homicidal AI, crazed junkies and colossal Wardens standing in your way in a stylish alternative version of 1988.
Black Future '88 will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch soon.
