Ubisoft Montreal's 2014 sleeper hit Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakened on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the villainous dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have successfully stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only the fictional Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny and future.
Created by a talented team at Ubisoft Montreal using the UbiArt Framework, Child of Light is an RPG inspired by fairy tales complemented with a story carefully crafted in verse and rhyme. The game mixes gameplay mechanisms from jRPG and platformer games creating a brand new quality. There's a reason why players all around the world have been asking Ubisoft to create a sequel.
Child of Light: Ultimate Edition launches today. The Nintendo Switch version of the indie AAA title includes some new features that will allow players to play the game in co-op mode as the second player gets to control Igniculus, a whisp and a companion of Aurora.
