Bringing back some elements from classic titles from the 16-Bit and 32-Bit era,
Code of Princess EX is a hack-and-slash with some touches of beat 'em up action, and role-playing elements. Developed by Studio Saizensen and published by Nicalis, the game was announced back in March and it has just become available today for the Nintendo Switch.
Code of Princess EX features some classic hack-and-slash gameplay with customisable RPG elements that will allow players get the most out of the game's combat mechanics, level up and equip their favourite characters, and even modify theur weapons and accessories—which also modify their stats in various categories.
Players can choose over a staggering 50 different playable characters throughout multiple game modes that include classic Single Player Campaign, Free Play, and even some Bonus Quests to take on at their leisure. If players don't feel like playing solo, they can always invite some friends over and play in cooperative or competitive local multiplayer mode. Online mode is also available and players can choose to play cooperatively and competitively, as well.
All characters and worlds in
Code of Princess EX have been created by legendary Capcom artists Kinu Nishimura and Bengus, who are very well known for working on the
Street Fighter,
Rival Schools, and even
Darkstalkers series—among many, many more.
