Daemon X Machina is a game developed by Marvelous Entertainment coming out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in 2019. It could be said that the game is a spiritual successor to the
Armored Core series, having Kenichiro Tsukuda—who has been previously involved in FromSoftware's mech-based series—working on the project.
Unlike
Armored Core,
Daemon X Machina is embracing a more animated approach—with some awesome designs by manga artist Yusuke Kozaki that give the game its own unique style that resembles anime at times—while still keeping all of the mecha action completely intact.
The new trailer for
Daemon X Machina, released at this year's Gamescom, shows off some of that fast-paced mecha action, as well as giving us an idea of what character customisation will be like. We have know for a while that mechas will be customisable but didn't know human characters would be playable, let alone fully customisable—which makes gameplay even more dynamic.
