Mario Tennis Aces was released on the 22nd of June and it has been getting quite a bit of support from Nintendo since. A week after the game released, Nintendo announced that they would be adding three more characters to the roster, these being Koopa Troopa, Blooper, and Donkey Kong Country's Diddy Kong.

All of these new characters are free downloadable content but Nintendo held a few online tournaments that allowed participants to get them a bit earlier than the ones who choose not to participate. The first two tournaments give participatns Blooper and Koopa Troopa, although these characters have yet to be released for everyone.

Today, Nintendo has released a new gameplay trailer for Donkey Kong Country's very own Diddy Kong, who will also be available for players that choose to participate on the new Online tournament, which starts on the 1st of September and ends on the 30th of September. For those who choose not to participate on the tournament, Diddy Kong will become available for everyone on the 1st of October.
