Friday the 13th: The Game will officially arrive on the Nintendo Switch this spring, in the form of the "Ultimate Slasher Switch Edition".

All DLCs and previous content will make its way over to the Switch version of the game, namely the Jason Kill Pack, Counselor Clothing Packs and the Emote Party Pack.

Daniel Nixon of Gun Media expressed his excitement at the announcement:

"We’re happy to be bringing ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ to the Nintendo Switch with the help of our partners at Black Tower and Nighthawk. The Nintendo Switch offers a unique experience, in both social settings and on the go, that we feel work very well with ‘Friday the 13th: The Game.’”.

Friday the 13th: The Game was funded by Kickstarter during its development, and released to all major consoles in 2017; the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game sold 1.8 million copies worldwide following its launch in May 2017. Unfortunately, the screenwriter from the original film took issue with Gun Media over a copyright dispute last year and as a result, the game would receive no more content and updates.
Are you looking forward to playing Friday
the 13th: The Game on the Nintendo Switch, or will you continue to play it on your console of choice? Sound off in the comments below.
