By the end of November, Nintendo revealed that three new characters were becoming available as part of the upcoming downloadable content for Mario Tennis Aces.

The characters that were revealed are Super Mario Galaxy series' Luma, Boom Boom from Super Mario Bros. 3, and Pauline from the original Donkey Kong released in 1981—as well as the more recent Super Mario Odyssey; all of which will be released on a monthly basis from January through March of 2019.

With January just around the corner, we get a brand-new trailer for Super Mario Galaxy series' Luma, which is the first character of the bunch to become available for players who participate in the January tournament; which begins on the 1st of January.

After the Mario Tennis Aces January Tournament is over on the 1st of February, Luma will become available, also for free, for players who chose not to participate on the tournament.

Check it out.
