Chances are that if you asked even long-time Pokémon fans who the first creature to be introduced to the franchise was you would have a tough time finding the right answer. Even if some people
didn't guess an obvious choice like Pikachu or Bulbasaur, they would still probably be wrong.
As a matter of fact that title actually goes to Rhydon! Interestingly enough, Rhydon and its family members Rhyhorn and Rhyperior were recently featured in Pokémon Go as the first creatures to have a voted community day. Beating out the likes of Machop, Dratini, and Vulpix, Rhyhorn proved how popular it really is - but fans still weren't aware of just how old this creature really was.
When asked which Pokémon is the heaviest, most people would be quick to say Snorlax or possibly even Wailord. But the answer is actually a tie between two creatures that weigh 2204.4 lbs each - Celesteela and Cosmoem. Thankfully, taking a look at the
Guinness Book of World Records list of titles held by Pokémon, we can actually learn a lot more than simply facts about Rhydon and Cosmoem.
