Nintendo is preparing a new Nintendo Direct, according to Nintendo Life, a source who had correctly reported on the 2018 Indies Highlights presentation.

This Direct is scheduled for September 6, 6:00 PM Central. Although the content is not known, the date is speculated by the announcement of new independent games and perhaps more details of Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo's online subscription service, which opens this month.

Nintendo Switch Online will become a paid subscription and in addition to being necessary to play online, subscribing to this service will offer a number of advantages, such as saving games in the cloud and access to the mobile application of Nintendo Switch Online.

Through this application we can organize games and use voice chat, in addition to being able to access exclusive promotional prices for certain products on the Nintendo eShop, and access a catalog of classic Nintendo games, to which online mode has been added.
