The underappreciated
No More Heroes series was one of the highlights of the Nintendo Wii era. Unfortunately, the games have never managed to sell well, but Nintendo has decided to revive the property letting Suda51's Grasshopper Manufacturer make a new game with Travis in the lead role. Yeah, the series' main hero carrying a lightsaber will "
embark on a rampage of epic proportions."
As you probably guessed, the last part of the sentence comes from the
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes press release. The recently released video interview with Suda51 gives us a brand new look at the upcoming action-adventure title and it may be quite hard to find the promised "
rampage of epic proportions" in the said footage as the title looks like a ghost of the past, and a low-budget one.
Travis Strikes Back has been pushed to January to avoi
d Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that launches in December. The recently released gameplay (thanks, Famitsu!) features an extended look at the cooperative mode, that gives your friends a chance to kill enemies with you, in action. The developers may need the extra time to polish the final product, as its current form doesn't live up to the title.
Get ready to wander into the game world and embark on a rampage of epic proportions when Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch January 18, 2018.
