The library of Nintendo Entertainment System titles on the Nintendo Switch Online NES feature is getting two new classic titles as part of February's games update:
Super Mario Bros. 2 and
Kirby's Adventure.
Super Mario Bros. 2 is the sequel to the iconic
Super Mario Bros., although some people may disagree since the
Super Mario Bros. 2 released outside of Japan is actually a game called
Doki Doki Panic, bringing back Mario and his brother Luigi — as well as introducing Toad and Princess Toadstool as playable characters — as they embark on a new adventure.
Kirby's Adventure is also a sequel to the classic Kirby's Dreamland released for the Game Boy in 1992, introducing for the first time ever Kirby's iconic copy ability that has become a staple mechanic for both the character and the franchise as a whole ever since.
Both
Super Mario Bros. 2 and
Kirby's Adventure will become available in the Nintendo Entertainment System feature on the
13th of February for users who have paid for the Nintendo Switch Online service.
