Yomawari: Night Alone is a survival horror game developed and published by NIS America that released in 2015 for the PlayStation Vita and Steam. In the game' players take control of a girl looking for her dog Poro and her sister by exploring the town, which is infested with monsters. The game focuses a lot on solving puzzles and escaping the monsters rather than fighting them.
The game then got a sequel in the form of
Yomawari: Midnight Shadows, which came out in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Microsoft Windows. The premise of this game is very similar to the first one except that in
Midnight Shadows players can control two playable characters—Yui and Haru— who get separated and need to be brought back together. The game has players switching between these two characters back and forth as the story develops.
Now, NIS America has revealed that
Yomawari: The Long Night Collection is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch. The collection includes
Yomawari: Night Alone, and
Yomawari Midnight Shadows so players can enjoy these thrilling adventures on the go.
Yomawari: The Long Night Collection is set for release on the
30th of October, just in time for players to enjoy Halloween and get that little extra bit of horror out of the game.
Urban legends come alive in Yomawari: Night Alone and Yomawari: Midnight Shadows, now collected in one title!
Yomawari: The Long Night Collection will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on the 30th of October.
