Publisher Forever Entertainment has officially announced that CreativeForge Games' acclaimed turn-based strategy
Hard West will be coming to Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop on March 7th.
We also know that the award-winning game is set to come with the
Scars of Freedom DLC, which originally launched in 2016, as well as the game's soundtrack composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz (
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077).
Hard West initially released for PC in 2015 to generally positive reviews, offering players a chance to fight and survive through 8 unique story-based scenarios.
Considering that CreativeForge has been facing some major financial problems recently, the
Phantom Doctrine studio's future may rely on the Switch port's sales. Given that the Nintendo system supports strategies (like
Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle or
The Banner Saga) well, there's a chance players will recognize the Polish developer's hard work. Be sure to check out
Hard West's new launch trailer below:
Welcome to the Wild West like you’ve never seen it before. When a tragic turn of events sets one man down a path of supernatural chaos and revenge, he must brutally hunt down all those who wronged him. Follow Warren on his descent into the darkest recesses of the human soul, and try to survive in a world full of hard choices and even harder consequences. Because in this world, death is a constant presence and the black pacts which you make with forces beyond human comprehension will forever haunt all those around you.
Hard West is now available for PC; coming to Nintendo Switch on March 7, 2019.
