Nintendo have revealed important new details about their new online service launching next year, as opposed to the original plan of launching it this year!
The service will, surprisingly, only cost $19.99 a year’s membership, or $7.99 for three months membership, or $3.99 for just one month’s membership. This incredibly low price, will, surely, rake in plenty of subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online services, especially with its bonuses.
The Nintendo Switch Online service will allow subscribers to play online on the Nintendo Switch, so you can continue to fight in ARMS, race in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and battle in Splatoon 2. The service also gives access to the online lobby and voice chat mobile application, allowing players to voice chat with each other and party up for teamplay. Subscribers will, also, have access to exclusive Nintendo eShop deals, which should be reassuring to those unwilling to pay the full price for eShop games.
Finally, Nintendo have backtracked on the previous issue of only allowing access to the free retro games for one month at a time, to permanently allowing access to the games as long as the user has a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The inclusion of online multiplayer in many of the retro games and their permanent access to subscribers should, definitely, sustain the Nintendo Switch’s success.
