Pianista: Legendary Virtuoso is a piano music game very similar to RedOctane and Harmonix's Guitar Hero series. The game is developed and published by Superb Corp and will be coming out for the Nintendo Switch soon, although they have not specified an official release date.
Pianista saw its humble beginnings in 2016 for iOS, later to be ported to Android devices. Legendary Virtuoso, however, is being developed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, and will feature music from 23 of the greatest composers of our time, with over 70 music tracks to pick from, and over 693 different patterns for players to test their rhythmic skills.
In
Pianista: Legendary Virtuoso, players will be able to choose from 4 to 6 keys to perform, as well as selecting 3 songs to perform. Players will also be able to unlock different piano skins inspired by some of the world's most famour paintings.
The announcement trailer for the game only shows gameplay with the Joy-Con controllers, so we still don't know if
Pianist: Legendary Virtuoso will also allow players to use the Nintendo Switch's touchscreen. Perhaps the game could end up being compatible with the Nintendo Labo piano at one point? We'll just have to wait for more official announcements.
