Dragon Marked for Death is an upcoming 2D side-scroller action game with RPG elements developed by Inti Creates, who are also responsible for titles like the Mega Man Zero series, Mega Man XZ, and Azure Striker Gunvolt—which also help inspire Dragon Marked for Death.

From a gameplay standpoint, Dragon Marked for Death borrows all of the best elements from Inti Creates' previous 2D side-scrollers, but also introduces new elements like 4-player co-cop mode that will allow players to team up with their friends either locally or online.

Dragon Marked for Death was originally expected to release on the 13th of December of this year, but Inti Creates reveals in the new animated trailer for the game that it will no longer be coming out this year; as the game has been given an official release date that will see Dragon Marked for Death releasing on the 31st of January. The game will initially be coming out digitally but physical copies by Nighthawk Interactive are expected to release soon after.
