Kirby Star Allies has hit a milestone in the UK as it becomes the fastest selling Kirby title in the UK and lands second place in the UK video game week charts beaten only by
Burnout Paradise Remastered. Without taking away from the No.1 spot, we do have to take into account that
Burnout Paradise Remastered was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while
Kirby Star Allies is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

Kirby's Dream Land was the first game in the series and debuted on the Nintendo Game Boy in 1992 and even since then it had never gotten to to even Top 10 in the UK charts.
According to GameSpot, the previous record for a Kirby game was
Kirby: Triple Deluxe(2014) and then again
Kirby: Planet Robobot(2016) both obtaining the 15th place in their respective year of release.
