Nintendo has announced that
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will officially launch on July 19, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Revealed last December, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is a long-awaited return to the beloved action role-playing series that brings together some of Marvel's most powerful superheroes, including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men, and more. Together, they will attempt to prevent galactic devastation at the hands of the Mad Titan and his ruthless warmasters, The Black Order. Newly released cover art for the game reveals a whole bunch of other Marvel heroes joining the fray.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will boast a number of features that make use of the Nintendo Switch's unique functionality, including single-player or drop-in/drop-out co-op multiplayer on up to four systems. You can play online, offline via local wireless, or even four players on the same console with an extra pair of Joy-Con controllers.
In this new storyline, heroes and villains unite in a race across the Marvel Universe to find the Infinity Stones before Thanos and The Black Order use them to unleash cosmic chaos. From Avengers Tower to the X-Mansion and beyond, every stop on the dangerous quest to thwart Thanos results in unexpected collisions of fan-favorite characters and iconic locations.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order lands on Nintendo Switch on July 19, 2019. There has been no mention of the game coming to PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
