Fans of the Smash Brothers franchise can finally relax as a new Super Smash Brothers was just announced for the Nintendo Switch and it's coming out this year. Take a look at the teaser.
It seems that this will, indeed, be a new entry in the series as the shadows of Mario and Link give it away since it's unlikely that they would give Mario and Link new skins. Mario and Link's shadows hinted at their newest iterations from
Super Mario Odyssey and Link's
Breath of the Wild looks.
Whether this is a port of the
Super Smash Brothers for the Wii U or a brand-new entry in the series, fans can still cherish the fact that Nintendo's fighting crossover is finally coming to the Switch.
No official release date was given but the game is expected to come out this year.
