The Outer Worlds is an open-world role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment. It released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25th of last year and a Nintendo Switch release was confirmed soon thereafter.

In November, Take-Two Interactive president Karl Slatoff was quoted as saying that The Outer Worlds will be available for the Nintendo Switch in early 2020 — click here to check out that report. Thankfully, we now know exactly when the first-person role-playing game will be coming to the versatile platform.

March 6th! That's when. The Nintendo Switch port has been handled by Virtuous and will cost $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99 / AU$ 89.99 once it becomes available in just over a month's time. The Outer Worlds will be exclusively available for the Switch via digital download.

However, you will be able to purchase a physical copy — but, rather than a game card, it will simply include a download code that you can input into the Nintendo eShop. An image of the official box art has been released and you can check that out below (via Nintendo Life):


 

The Outer Worlds is out now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC — and will release for the Nintendo Switch in early 2020.
