It seems that players have really embraced
Super Mario Maker 2 — although this isn't quite a surprise considering how well the game has been doing since it launched — as Nintendo reveals that over 4 million courses have already been created in the game.
A couple of weeks ago, Nintendo also announced that they would be
increasing the number of levels that players could create from 32 to 64 courses, and this is probably due to the sheer amount of levels that players had been uploading to the game's server.
In fact, they increased the number of levels a few days after the company revealed that
over 2 million courses had been created by players in Super Mario Maker 2, so this is likely the reason why they decided to increase the amount of levels players could create; an amount they promised to increase, at least, one more time in the future.
Nintendo's financial briefing also revealed that
Super Mario Maker 2 had already sold 2.42 million units in a mere two days after its release; a number that has likely increased in the month since the game's been out. Needless to say, people are loving
Super Mario Maker 2 and Nintendo knows it.
