A few days ago Nintendo surprised fans by revealing that a bunch of charcters from the Minecraft series would be joining the roster in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which is actually a dream come true for fans of both the Super Smash Bros. and Minecraft series.
The announcement trailer was overwhelmingly well received by fans, but they were left wondering when exactly would these Minecraft characters(Steve, Alex, Zombie, and Enderman) be joining the game. Super Smash Bros. Creator Masahiro Sakurai did reveal that more information would be shared on Saturday.
Keeping his promise, Sakurai has just revealed a tonne of information regarding the Minecraft characters that were recently announced to join the popular crossover fighting game, including the releae date.
Players will be happy to find out that the aforementioned Minecraft characters will become available in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as part of the second Challenger Pack in the game's Fighters Pass Vol.2, on Tuesday the 13th of October, which players can also purchase individually for $5.99 USD.
Masahiro Sakurai didn't only reveal the release date, as he also, and quite thoroughly, showed gameplay footage that tells players pretty much everything they need to know about the characters themselves, their Spirits, the new music tracks that will be added, and the Minecraft-themed arena.
On top of this, Sakurai also reveals that Mii Fighter costumes based on Minecraft, The Tower of Druaga, Bomberman, and No More Heroes series will be added as part of the same Challenger Pack.
